Our courses are designed around three hour sessions at Lake Rua and Lake Pegasus.

After School - Weekends - Holidays

Sessions times -

After School - 4:00 to 7:00.
Weekends - 9:30 to 12:30 - 1:00 to 4:00
Holidays - 9:30 to 12:30 - 1:00 to 4:00

Sessions do require a minimum number of students to run.

Canterbury Sailing School course

You have three ways in which to participate in our Learning programme.

The core of our programmes.

Join one of our regular 5 session courses coming to Lake Rua or Lake Pegasus once or twice a week, over 3 weekends, or join a school holiday course over 5 days.

The first course will help a new sailor to feel comfortable in their yacht and ready to do more sailing. After a second course they should be ready to join in the sailing at yacht club.

Design your own course and PRIVATE SESSIONS

Together we work out session times that suit your programme and ours - several times a week or just days that suit. There will be an extra cost for this option

We are happy to talk to you about options that suit your schedule and budget. One on one and private group sessions are also available, where we plan your course with you and work with 1 to 3 sailors to suit your schedule.

If you miss a session then we work with you to catch up. There will be an extra charge for this.
