Lake Rua
We have been using Lake Rua, in the Roto Kohatu Reserve, as a sailing venue since 2002. Located off Johns Rd in Harewood, it has the benefit of pleasant rural surroundings without the restrictions of tide and current. The Christchurch City Council is active in keeping the reserve in superb condition. Most of our sailing classes happen here.
Lake Hood
For several years now we have been introducing students from Ashburton schools to sailing at Lake Hood.
Lake Pegasus
We are now sailing at Lake Pegasus the newest lake in New Zealand and it is fantastic as a venue for all our sailing activities. Pegasus Town is billed as a seaside holiday resort and it certainly is a very pleasant place to spend a day sailing and with stunning mountain views too.
