WE ARE BACK

It's been three years and many thousands of sea miles since Canterbury Sailing School was running adult sailing courses.

And, you might ask, where have we been for the intervening years? 

LIKE ALL GOOD SAILORS WE'VE BEEN SAILING!!

Our cruising has taken up to the Pacific Islands and across to Australia and the Great Barrier Reef and on down to Sydney. In May this year we re-crossed the Tasman to complete the circle We were joined in the crossing by Graham Perrem. Graham came to the Sailing School 7 years ago as a total beginner. He has since gone on to sail the Tasman solo twice and as crew several times. He has also voyaged around the Pacific Islands and Tasmania. Graham is just one of the many ex students from the Sailing School who have gone on to live their dreams.

We are now back in NZ and ready to teach and inspire many more New Zealander's to do the same. Whether it's sailing around our wonderful harbour with family and friends, or a short voyage around the peninsular to Akaroa, or even a passage over an Ocean, we can help.

The depth of sailing and teaching experience in the team at Canterbury Sailing School, is something that the whole of the Province can take pride in.

To show our commitment to Cantabrians we have also invested in a keel boat teaching yacht. There's plenty of cockpit space with a walk-though transom and all the modern equipment you would expect on a yacht of this pedigree.
